VERONICA: Virtual reality experiment to study the role of social conformity in the acceptance of autonomous vehicles.
Veronica project aims to develop an innovative approach that uses highly realistic virtual experience to understand and model users’ acceptance of fully autonomous vehicles.
The research is based on the international collaboration between Newcastle University in UK and Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada.
The project is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), UK.
